Our international referees and commissioners have had an exceptional club competition season, showcasing their expertise and dedication across Europe. Their hard work and commitment have been recognized with a total of 34 nominations in FIBA competitions for the 2024/2025 season. These include:

  • EuroCup Women: 26 nominations
  • Europe Cup Men: 5 nominations
  • EuroLeague Women: 1 nomination
  • 2025 Women’s EuroBasket Qualifiers: 2 nominations

Honoring Marc Mouton’s Legacy

This year marks the end of an memorable career for Marc Mouton, one of our best international referees of recent years. Since beginning his journey in 2012, Marc has officiated an impressive 36 games across various FIBA competitions, earning respect and admiration for his professionalism and expertise.

Marc concluded his referee career with the FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division C tournament in Elbasan, Albania, in July 2024. Over the years, he has officiated high-profile games in tournaments such as the EuroCup Women, Europe Cup Men, and multiple youth European Championships, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and dedication to basketball officiating.

We thank Marc for his invaluable contributions to the sport and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. His impact on basketball officiating will be remembered for years to come.
