🏛 General Assembly – A New Chapter
Our General Assembly this year was a big success! With more than 70 people attending and perfect weather, we were able to hold the whole meeting outside on the terrace. It was a relaxed and positive evening with lots of good moments. There were some changes in the committee:
Tom Jaas has chosen not to extend his membership on the AdABL commitee, and we are happy to welcome Carine Lorentz as a new member.
The biggest moment of the evening was when Marc Mouton stepped down as President. Marc was a national and international referee for many years and has done so much for our community. We honored Marc during the evening to thank him for his long career, his international experience, and his hard work as President. We are glad that he will stay in the committee as a regular member.

We also welcomed our new President Julien Malané – congratulations!
Thank you to everyone who joined and made the evening so special!

Dear Colleagues and friends,
Following my election as the new President of AdABL, I would like to briefly reach out to thank you – for your trust and for your commitment to refereeing.
I’m looking forward to taking on this responsibility and continuing the work together with our committee. Our role for referees is important – not just on the court, but also in how we work together as a group.
My priorities are clear: transparency in communication, strong team spirit, and continued investment in the development of both ourselves and the next generation.
If you have ideas, concerns, or suggestions – our door (and inbox) is always open. See you soon on and off the courts,
Julien Malané
President – AdABL
🏀 Interested in Wheelchair Basketball Refereeing?
We are looking to see if there is interest in a Wheelchair Basketball Referee Training Course. The plan is to organize a session with an experienced instructor from Germany. If you are interested in joining or want more information, please contact Julien Malané. Your feedback will help us decide and plan the training.
