All Referees – General Mid-Season Clinic
The general mid-season clinic took place on 24/01/2026 from 09h00 to 12h00 at d’Coque, Kirchberg (Amphitheatre), with 113 referees in attendance.
From 09h00 to 10h00, we held a joint session for all referees focused on general updates and a mid-season review, followed by a technical session from 10h00 to 12h00 for all referees covering rules interpretations and game management. The main video focus this year was on foul recognition, which generated a lot of good questions and discussions from the group.

LBBL Elite Group – Mid-Season Clinics
After the joint session in the amphitheatre, the LBBL Elite referees and the 25BBAM1 candidates moved to the Coque Gymnase for a focussed discussion and on‑court practical work. Under the lead of National Team Coach Ken Diederich, the group took part in a Basketball Knowledge on‑court session, analysing different set plays and identifying the main refereeing priorities in each situation (primary coverage, secondary help, criteria, …).

25BBAM1 – Fitness Test Reminder
For all 25BBAM1 candidates who have not yet passed the official fitness test in the 2025–2026 pre‑season clinics, the re‑test is scheduled on 07/02/2026 at 11h30 (time to be confirmed) at Coque Arena. This mid‑season session counts as a single re‑test opportunity, with no further catch‑up tests planned.
Referee Shirts – Optional Extra Orders
The new official referee shirts (orange and black) for the 2025–2026 season are available in the ADABL shop. Every referee should already have one shirt of each color (one orange, one black) as part of the standard equipment.
If additional shirts are available in stock, you may order a second set via the shop page, as long as your size is still in stock.
Please note that stock remains limited; some sizes may already be sold out.
