Pink October 2026 – Basketball joins the fight against breast cancer
October is Pink! This month is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting those affected by the disease. Once again this year, Luxembourg basketball is joining this important initiative and turning the courts pink.
Throughout the month, basketball clubs, players, coaches, officials and referees are invited to show their support for Pink October and help spread the message of awareness, solidarity and prevention.
Referees in pink
One special feature of this year’s campaign will see referees wear specially designed pink referee shirts during selected games throughout Pink October.
The shirts will be worn in the Enovos League Men, Enovos League Women and Men’s N2 competitions. By taking part on the court, referees will give the campaign a highly visible presence during the games and help raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention and early detection.
More than just a colour
Pink October is about much more than wearing pink. It is an opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage prevention and show solidarity with people affected by the disease.
Every game is an opportunity to send a message: basketball stands together.
We invite all clubs, players, coaches, officials, referees and fans to take part in Pink October 2026 and help make the campaign visible in basketball halls across Luxembourg.
Every Referee is invited to wear Pink Laces or even call games with a Pink Whistle, which you can even buy in our shop.
Unfortunately, only available from October 14th, when our shop reopens.

Together, we can make a difference. 💗🏀
